I was born in 1968 (1347) in a Turkish-speaking family in Tehran.<\/p>\n

I have always been a rather one-dimensional person (it seems I still am).<\/p>\n

A devoted reader and student \u2014 everyone used to say, \u201cYou should become a doctor!\u201d<\/p>\n

So I pursued the experimental sciences track and, in 1987 (1366), entered medical school at the University of Tehran.<\/p>\n

In 1995 (1374), I graduated from the University of Tehran as a general practitioner.<\/p>\n

I spent my military service as a conscript physician in one of the army divisions near the border \u2014 under special, isolated conditions in the middle of the desert.<\/p>\n

Afterward, I worked as a general practitioner until 1999 (1378), when I was accepted into the psychiatry residency program at Iran University of Medical Sciences.<\/p>\n

In 2003 (1382), I defended my thesis.<\/p>\n

For about a year and a half, I was the only psychiatrist in one of the cities of the dear province of Kerman.<\/p>\n

Since 2005 (1384), I have been working in Tehran and its suburbs.<\/p>\n

I practice psychiatry in both public and private sectors \u2014 prescribing medication, words, and, when I can, a bit of awareness.<\/p>\n

I am deeply passionate about literature and have been guilty of writing myself; a collection of these writings is set to be published before 2026 (1405), along with a few other books I have contributed to, either through writing or translation.<\/p>\n

These include Emotional Intelligence<\/em> (Qatreh Publishing) and Professional Ethics of Psychiatrists<\/em>.<\/p>\n

For some time, I have also been involved in creating video content aimed at promoting mental health awareness \u2014 with the help of several friends. These can be found online.<\/p>\n

I am married, and my daughter, Amitis, has just begun studying Computer Science.<\/p>\n

True to the classic law of daughters, she regularly \u201cmassages\u201d the minds of those around her \u2014 including mine \u2014 with detailed updates about her university life, friends, and online world.<\/p>\n

For now, that\u2019s my r\u00e9sum\u00e9 \u2014 summarized.<\/p>\n

Neither this place is suited for lengthy writing, nor do I assume my kind reader has the patience for it.<\/p>\n

The world is neither beautiful nor ugly. Even people are rarely purely good or bad.<\/p>\n

We are all simply part of this world.<\/p>\n

Lucky are those who have found the fortune of living joyfully and humanely, and of making the world a better place.<\/p>\n
