Uncertain Days \u2014 The True Meaning of the So\u2011Called \u201cCritical Period\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

Will Israel carry out an attack?<\/p>\n

What will be the outcome of the region\u2019s crisis?<\/p>\n

What future awaits Iran and its people?<\/p>\n

Ever since I can remember, it was the time of the Revolution \u2014 chaos everywhere \u2014 then the Iran\u2011Iraq War, \u201cwar\u2011war\u201d until a forced ceasefire;<\/p>\n

the reconstruction period, the reform era, Ahmadinejad\u2019s time, the protests of 2009, 2017, 2019,<\/p>\n

the Ukrainian plane tragedy, and the Mahsa movement.<\/p>\n

All these years have brought various sanctions, restrictions on interaction with the world, troubled domestic policies, a hollow and corrupted economy, high inflation, and low social hope \u2014 which, especially in recent years, have pushed everyone who could toward migration.<\/p>\n

And now, truly, the shadow of war has been added to all the previous conditions.<\/p>\n

Life, of course, goes on and will continue.<\/p>\n

In a way, we have learned to live alongside disasters and hardships.<\/p>\n

Yet it is clear that for such a tense society, full of problems and stress, expecting improvement in living conditions, progress of the people, and development of the country is nothing more than a dream.<\/p>\n

We must return to the people and national interests of Iran and spend the nation\u2019s resources and capacities for its own benefit.<\/p>\n

There must be major changes in policy and in the outlook toward both domestic and international matters so that we can survive the storm.<\/p>\n

Rationality and justice must prevail.<\/p>\n

Public opinions and ideas must be respected.<\/p>\n

The very existence of different viewpoints and beliefs must be recognized.<\/p>\n

Violence and threats against the people must end.<\/p>\n

We must\u2026 we must\u2026<\/p>\n
